Markaz Tarbiyya

Our Central Vision

Hybrid Islamic and Secular Education

A complete educational journey where faith and academic excellence grow together — from the earliest years to higher education.

The Challenge

Modern school schedules leave children with limited time for spiritual education. Academic learning and Islamic upbringing are too often separated — and the result is a generation that may excel in one while missing the other.

The Vision

Markaz Tarbiyya wants to establish official schools where students learn both secular and Islamic education together — graduating with strong academic knowledge, religious understanding, morals, ethics, and a deep sense of social responsibility.

The Pathway

From nursery to university

A staged, sustainable plan that grows with the community.

1

Nursery & Primary School Plan

Our first phase is to establish nursery and primary schools where children begin both their academic and Islamic education together from an early age.

2

Secondary School Plan

The second phase is a secondary school spanning Form 1 to Form 6, continuing the integrated journey through to advanced level.

3

Long-Term College / University Vision

In the long term, we aim to establish a college or university in Pangani focused on Islamic, secular, and environmental education.

Why it matters

Why hybrid education matters

Children grow academically while staying connected to faith, morals, and discipline — without sacrificing one for the other.

Graduates carry both knowledge and character into their families, workplaces, and communities.

Expected impact

  • Students who are confident in both worldly and religious knowledge
  • A trusted, values-based education option for local families
  • A long-term institution that serves generations to come
  • A model of integrated education for the wider region

Help us build these schools

Donors and partners can help bring nursery, primary, and secondary education — and one day a college or university — to Pangani.
